Following an evening lecture last week we spent a morning discovering the creative force and influence of Jean-Michel Basquiat at the Barbican Centre's first ever large-scale exhibition of his work. Our guest specialist Lizzie Perrotte guided our members through the turbulent life of the artist and more than 100 artworks brought together from international museums and prestigious private collections. The exhibition is certainly a London art world must-see and inspiring viewing for us.
