Early May 2017 presented us with a unique opportunity to spend an evening with Sovremennik - one of Russia's most notable theatres, known for its staging of intense psychological dramas and classic plays. 

That evening, for a few days only in London, Sovremennik performed one of its classic plays Three Comrades - adaptation of the novel by Erich Maria Remarque directed by Galina Volchek, Sovremennik's Artistic Director and a legendary figure of Russian theatre tradition.
