Following the success of our lecture last autumn on Italian opera, we continued to explore the history of this art form with a lecture on French Opera - one of Europe’s most important operatic traditions. Our guest lecturer Patrick Bade took us on a journey through the centuries of French opera traditions, voices, opera houses and stories.
