Please join us and discover the studio of the Moroccan-British artist Hassan Hajjaj. Born and raised in Larache, Hajjaj moved to the UK aged twelve, but has spent much of his life travelling between the two countries and cultures. In Shoreditch, Hassan Hajjaj is something of a local legend, taking fabrics, packaging and souvenirs from his native Morocco and transforming them into multi-coloured artworks. These pieces, and his eye-popping Marrakesh photographic portraits, have been shown in museums including the V&A and The British Museum.
