ArtSocial Christmas Gala 2019 raised £82,770
Our Patrons and friends from the worlds of art and fashion came together on 29th November 2019 at 30 Pavilion Road to celebrate the results of the year and raise funds for our projects in 2020, including ArtSocial new programme of art psychotherapy at Paediatric Departments.
The evening raised £82,770, with all the money going towards our charity programmes.
The Gala was attended by a special guest Sally Phillips – a beloved actress and a champion for Down’s syndrome awareness, who gave a touching speech and sharing about how music helps her son, Olly, who has Down syndrome to gain confidence and essential social skills.
Big thanks to Faidee - a jeweller who over 100 years works with the rarest Burmese rubies, for supporting the evening.
Thanks to our auction partners - Joali Maldives, Amanzoe, CHANEL Fine Jewellery New Bond Street boutique, and Entourage Concierge.
Alina Uspenskaya, Founder and Director, ArtSocial Foundation said: “This year’s Gala Gala was a very special event as we announced our brand new programme of art psychotherapy in children’s hospitals. We are grateful to all our supporters and partners for contributing, so that we can bring the transformative power of art to more children who have special need and disabilities and also to launch the new programme an extend it to as many hospitals as possible in the coming year.”
