Supporting Professional Development in the Art Therapy Community
The continued development of art therapy practices is essential for providing the most beneficial service to those who need it. Currently, in Russia, there is a lack of professional development opportunities for arts and creative therapists.
To address this problem, we are supporting a professional development programme Open Talks, in partnership with The Centre of Psychology and Art Therapy ‘SAMO’.
Open Talks will bring together leading experts in the field of art therapy, creative therapies and mental health. Together, thought-leaders will share solutions, strategies and ideas to improve the quality and access of arts and art therapy provision for children and young people. Specialists from across Russia will participate in workshops and open lectures to learn new skills, share knowledge and raise the profile of the creative therapy profession. Open Talks aims to increase awareness of the impact of arts on children’s wellbeing and development.
