The evening presented an opportunity for Artsocial Friends to learn about the insights about the exuberant world of contemporary art from some of the most exciting professionals in the field.
Francesca Gavin, an art critic and writer, and Eugenio Re Rebaudengo, a new generation art collector and entrepreneur, were in conversation about the main trends and the most influential figures of contemporary art.
The talk took place in the private lounge room of the Quattro Passi restaurant in Mayfair, and was held in support of the Gift of Life Charity Foundation and specifically to raise funds for the operation of 16-year old Dasha Grebennikova from Rostov-on-Don suffering with tumour on her leg bone.
Francesca Gavin is a visual arts editor of Dazed&Confused, contributing editor of Artsy, a writer for the Guardian, Art Review, Sunday Times Style, Vogue, GQ, Wallpaper* and an author of several books on contemporary art including 100 New Artists. Francesca is also a curator of the Soho House collection.
Eugenio Re Rebaudengo is a prolific art collector and patron, a founder of the innovative online platform ARTUNER and a frequent speaker at art conferences and on panels including the recent Financial Times' How to Build an Art Collection.
