Tate Archive visit

On this exclusive visit of the Tate Archive led by the museum's curators ArtSocial supporters gained access to the largest art archive in Britain. Tate Archive holds over a million items relating to the history of British art, including papers created by Francis Bacon, Kenneth Clark, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and others. We also had a chance to be among the first to see the newly acquired works from the collection of Marie-Louise von Motesiczky (1906-1996), an acclaimed 20-century artist who was born in Vienna and relocated to England in 1939 to flee the Nazis.

With this event ArtSocial supported the Gift of Life Foundation that brings hope and practical care to children and young adults with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
