Welcome to ArtSocial

Transforming Lives Through the Power of Arts

A Message from the Trustees

After many wonderful and impactful years, we, the trustees, have made the difficult decision to close ArtSocial Foundation. Recent turbulent years, compounded by significant global political changes, have presented challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to provide help as effectively and efficiently as we once did.

As part of this transition, we are pleased to announce that the Foundation’s remaining funds of £22,452 have been granted to our long-standing partner, the Otakar Kraus Music Trust. This grant will fund music education and therapy for dozens of children and young people throughout 2024/25, continuing the legacy of ArtSocial Foundation’s commitment to empowering lives through the arts.

We are immensely proud of everything the Foundation has achieved and deeply grateful to all our supporters, partners, and beneficiaries who have been part of this journey. While this chapter comes to an end, the spirit of ArtSocial Foundation and its dedication to making a difference will live on through the many lives it has touched.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.

We are ArtSocial Foundation – a philanthropic foundation that is on a mission to use arts to improve the lives of disadvantaged, vulnerable children and young people in the UK and Eastern Europe.

Set up in London in 2015, ArtSocial Foundation provides grants to grassroots and national charities. Transforming the lives of children and adults with special needs, life-limiting health conditions or psychological trauma through arts, the foundation provides vital resources for the charities they work with.

We provide grants to registered charities and community organisations primarily in the UK and Eastern Europe to help with the delivery of specific projects or for development of the organisations as a whole

The projects we fund range from art therapy for children with special needs and disabilities to art workshops for children in hospitals.

Through our projects, we aim to improve all aspects of the children’s lives, giving them the opportunity to learn, gain essential social skills, find a relief from psychological trauma, to build their lives creatively, and finally, to express themselves through art, music, theatre and dance.

Throughout the year our Patrons enjoy a specially curated programme of events, including charity visits, gallery tours, curated talks and bespoke behind-the-scenes visits, getting up close to the cultural scene of London and beyond.
